HIRE PRICE
The hire price is guaranteed to remain the same as quoted at the time of reservation so long as no alteration has been made to the itinerary after the reservation has been made. Any alterations made to the journey itinerary after the reservation has been made will be charged accordingly

BOOKING A VEHICLE
You are welcome to complete our online quotation form, or send us an email. Indeed, if you require a quote urgently, then please do give us a call (or text). Once you have received a quotation and are happy to proceed, and if the booking date is over 28 days prior to departure, a deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking. If the booking date is less than 28 days prior to departure, the amount must be paid in full. The deposit, balance or full amount can be made by cash, cheque or through on-line banking 28 days in advance of the hire date. Please let us know which method you would like to use.

CANCELLATION FEE
Unfortunately, we have found it necessary to charge cancellation fees. In doing this, we have tried to be as fair as possible both to you and us as a business. Most bookings are made several days, even weeks in advance. The chances of us being able to take another booking once you have cancelled yours at short notice are minimal. These charges are essential as once we confirm bookings, we guarantee the driver and vehicle will be available for your exclusive use. We don’t double book, so this means refusing all other bookings for that same period. If you need to cancel your booking, you should advise us by email, letter or by telephone.

Our cancellation charges are shown below:

If you cancel your booking more than 28 days prior to the hire date this will result in loss of deposit.
Less than 28 days notice of cancellation prior to the hire date will result in loss of the total value of the booking.

CHANGES TO THE HIRE
The chauffeur will travel by the most appropriate route as he/she sees fit. If the client wishes us to take an alternate route, we will do this providing the changes (IN OUR OPINION) are minimal. If the change or changes alter the structure of the hire then charges are made at the applicable rate to that hire.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO YOU
We shall supply all the inclusions of the hire as specified in the booking confirmation

INSURANCE
The vehicles/drivers of Jones Private Car Service are fully insured

BANK HOLIDAYS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & UNSOCIAL HOURS
Excess charges will be incurred for any journey made on a public or bank holiday or during unsocial hours (2000-0800). If the date of travel falls on one of these dates please make this known to our staff whilst making the reservation and the tariff will be amended accordingly.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR:
Bodily injury or death or sickness to the signatory of the contract or any other person except where such death or injury is caused directly by a staff member of Jones Private Car Service. Delays caused by inclement weather conditions; amenities supplied by third parties such as ferry companies, hotels or any other party contracted on your behalf; any theft or damage to property of the passengers; any delays caused by strike action, acts of God, nature or war.

CARRIAGE OF ANIMALS
No pets shall be carried without the written permission of the company. Guide dogs are fully permitted.

MUSIC
No musical instruments or radios shall be played without the express agreement between the chauffeur and the signatory of the contract.

SMOKING
The Company maintains a non-smoking policy in all its vehicles. Any person found to be smoking on the vehicle will be requested to cease.

ALCOHOL
Under no circumstances shall the company permit the consumption of alcohol within the confines of the interior of the vehicle.

PUNCTUALITY
It is your responsibility to ensure that you return to the vehicle in order to reach your destination in time. Jones Private Car Service takes no responsibility for lateness caused by passengers themselves being late.

DAMAGE
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and/or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valet required in order to reinstate the vehicle to working order.

DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR
The company reserves the right to refuse travel to anyone that it deems to be a nuisance or danger to its employees or passengers. In extreme cases of nuisance the company may request the Police to eject the offenders. No compensation or refund shall be made to anyone requested to leave the vehicle under such circumstances.

ANY INFRINGEMENT OF THESE CONDITIONS COULD RENDER YOUR HIRE WITH JONES PRIVATE CAR SERVICE TO BE TERMINATED WITHOUT REFUND OR COMPENSATION.

LUGGAGE
One suitcase plus one small piece of hand baggage per person is allowed. It is your responsibility to ensure your luggage is correctly loaded and unloaded at each destination.

CHANGES TO ITINERARY
From time to time Jones Private Car Service may have to change certain aspects of the given itinerary. Wherever possible such changes shall be notified to you in advance.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities are at the client’s discretion and are not included in the price. If the client wishes to make a gratuity payment, he/she may request this be charged at their discretion.
